The Stand makes delicious and tasty burgers, hotdogs and beverages on the dock of BC Ferries located at BC Ferries Otter Bay Terminal. We’re a favourite restaurant for both locals and tourists on Pender Island, BC. Open all year round, you enjoy fresh warm meals while exploring the beautiful scenery of the Gulf Islands. Behind the Grill

Hi, I’m Dan and love Pender Island. My son Josh and I moved to Pender Island 15 years ago and fell in love with the natural beauty of the small gem of a location. In 2006 we purchased The Stand to help support the patrons of BC Ferries stay hydrated and fed. We use only the finest ingredients and try to source our ingredients as local as we can. I encourage you to take a stand against hunger and visit us next time you visit the beautiful island of Pender.

If there’s one thing I enjoy, it’s seeing happy customers eating their ice cream cones and enjoying the ocean sights while waiting for their BC Ferry ride. Whether you need a breakfast bun with eggs first thing in the morning or you’re on the go and time is limited – we’re here to help you get fed and catch your ferry!
